Role Description

- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of HR professionals, including HR operations, payroll, benefits administration, and HRMS, ensuring high-performance and alignment with company goals.

- Develop and execute HR operational strategies that enhance efficiency, streamline processes, and improve overall employee experience, taking into consideration the unique needs of the insurance industry.

- Collaborate closely with the Chief Human Resources Officer and senior leadership to align HR operations with the company's strategic goals and objectives.

- Oversee the design, implementation, and administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs, ensuring compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within HR operations, leveraging data and analytics to identify areas for enhancement and optimize processes.

- Manage the end-to-end HR Ops for employee lifecycle, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management, talent development, and offboarding.

- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing in collaboration with finance and payroll teams, and handle any related discrepancies or issues.

- Develop and maintain HR metrics and reporting mechanisms to track the effectiveness of HR operations and provide insights to senior leadership.

- Lead HR technology initiatives, including the implementation and enhancement of HRIS systems to support data-driven decision-making and automation.

- Partner with internal stakeholders to drive employee engagement, employee relations, and organizational culture initiatives.

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in HR operations, incorporating relevant updates into company policies and practices.

The Successful Applicant

- MBA in HR Preferred

- Age - Below 40 years

- [10 to 12 ] years of experience in HR operations, with a minimum of [5] years in a leadership or management role, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.

- Proven track record of developing and implementing HR operational strategies that align with organizational goals and enhance workforce effectiveness.

- Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and regulations, particularly those relevant to the insurance sector.

- Exceptional leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team of HR professionals.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage HR data and metrics to drive informed decision-making.

- Experience with HRMS implementation, payroll processing, and HR technology tools.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
