Dimensions: 3 Manufacturing Units + R& D center+ upcoming projects
Staff Strength: 1200 +
Experience Required: 12+ years of HR and IR experience
Language Preference: Fluency in Telugu is mandatory
Position Overview:
- The HR Head will lead the Human Resources (HR) and Industrial Relations (IR) functions for the Vizag location ensuring alignment of HR strategy with business goals, implementation and upgrade of HR processes, ensuring smooth workforce management, compliance with labor laws, and strong employee relations.
- The role requires a strategic leader to manage both corporate HR and Employee Relations with focus on fostering a positive and high performance environment. Incumbent must have the ability to manage the key stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources Management:
- Develop and implement HR policies and strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Oversee talent acquisition, employee engagement, performance management, and succession planning.
- Drive organizational development initiatives and promote a culture of high performance.
Performance Management & Development:
- Oversee performance appraisals and employee development programs.
- Implement training and leadership development programs to upskill staff and enhance productivity.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Ensure competitive compensation and benefits strategies.
- Manage payroll processing and employee welfare initiatives.
Stakeholder Management:
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on HR and IR matters.
- Maintain strong relationships with employees, union leaders, and external stakeholders.
Industrial Relations (IR):
- Ensure harmonious industrial relations by addressing labor concerns and managing union negotiations.
- Handle grievance redressal and disciplinary actions in compliance with labor laws.
- Manage collective bargaining agreements and maintain strong communication with unions and employees.
Compliance & Legal:
- Ensure adherence to local labor laws, statutory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead compliance audits and manage legal matters related to employee and labor issues.
Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Foster a positive work culture and manage employee engagement programs.
- Address and resolve employee grievances in a fair and timely manner.
Health & Safety:
- Collaborate with the health and safety team to ensure a safe work environment.
- Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Experience: Master's degree in Human Resources Minimum 12 years of experience in HR and IR, with exposure to both corporate and industrial environments.
Language: Proficiency in Telugu and English.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors.
- Proven track record in managing unionized workforces and industrial relations issues.
