Looking for Client Company of Meru: A Leading Indian Internet Company (500+ Employees)

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Human Resources (HR Head) to lead the HR function at growing internet company based in Chennai. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success, with a strong mix of strategic HR leadership and hands-on experience in managing HR operations. In this role, you will collaborate with the executive team to align HR initiatives with overall business objectives, ensuring the effective development, engagement, and management of our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute HR strategies that support the company's goals and objectives, driving employee engagement, productivity, and retention.

- Act as a strategic advisor to the executive team, providing insights on organizational structure, talent acquisition, retention, and workforce planning.

- Lead and manage all HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, learning and development, and compliance.

- Implement robust HR policies, procedures, and systems to ensure a smooth HR operation.

- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and regulations.

- Leverage data-driven approaches to drive decision-making across HR functions, using analytical tools and metrics to track key HR metrics.

- Collaborate with department heads to align workforce strategies with business priorities and manage workforce planning.

- Manage employee performance and career development programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

- Lead talent management initiatives, focusing on succession planning, leadership development, and high-potential talent retention.

- Partner with business heads to support operational performance, with an emphasis on understanding P&L drivers and aligning HR initiatives with business outcomes.

- Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting diversity and employee well-being.

- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze HR data, provide insights, and support strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

- Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA preferred.

- A minimum of 10 years of experience in human resources management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.

- Proven experience in working as a business leader, with a solid understanding of P&L responsibility and business operations.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics to drive business decisions.

- Hands-on experience with advanced Excel functions for data analysis and reporting.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

- Deep knowledge of HR best practices, compliance requirements, and labor laws in India.

- Experience in working within fast-paced, dynamic environments, preferably within the internet or technology sector.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in a tech-driven, high-growth company.

- Familiarity with HR analytics platforms and tools.

- Proficiency in HR management software (HRMS) and employee management systems.
