This role is with one of the largest infrastructure group in India.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Human Resources, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR management and operations within the Group. This pivotal role requires strategic thinking, strong leadership, and the ability to drive HR initiatives that align with the company's overall objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Manpower Planning & Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement workforce planning strategies to ensure optimal staffing levels.
- Lead recruitment efforts to attract and hire top talent across various functions and levels.
- Implement effective onboarding processes to integrate new hires into the organization seamlessly.
Talent Management and Employee Engagement:
- Design and execute strategies for talent retention and career development.
- Foster a positive work environment through employee engagement initiatives and programs.
- Oversee performance management processes to ensure fair and transparent evaluations.
Talent Development:
- Identify training and development needs to enhance employee skills and competencies.
- Establish learning and development programs that support career growth and succession planning.
- Monitor the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjust strategies as needed.
Vendor Empanelment and Management:
- Manage relationships with HR service providers, consultants, and vendors.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective HR solutions.
- Monitor vendor performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
Implementation of Statutory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate legal risks.
- Conduct audits and assessments to monitor compliance standards.
Effective Contract Workforce Management:
- Oversee the administration of contract labor and contingent workforce.
- Develop guidelines and processes for hiring and managing temporary employees.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies for contract workers.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience as an HR leader or similar role, preferably in a large group or conglomerate
- MBA or PGDM in Human Resources or relevant field is required
- Strong understanding of labor laws, compliance requirements, and best practices in HR management.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate at all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to implement initiatives that support business objectives.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) will be advantageous.
