1. Develop and implement HR strategies: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with the company's business objectives. This includes talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and succession planning.
2. Manage recruitment and selection: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for managing the recruitment and selection process, ensuring that the company attracts and retains the best talent in the industry. This includes developing job descriptions, managing job postings, conducting interviews, and making job offers.
3. Develop and manage compensation and benefits: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and managing the company's compensation and benefits programs. This includes salary structures, performance-based incentives, employee benefits, and retirement plans.
4. Manage performance management: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for managing the performance management process, ensuring that all employees receive regular feedback and coaching to improve their performance. This includes setting performance goals, conducting performance evaluations, and developing performance improvement plans.
5. Develop and manage training and development: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and managing the company's training and development programs. This includes identifying training needs, developing training plans, and delivering training programs.
6. Manage employee relations: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for managing employee relations, ensuring that employees are treated fairly and consistently. This includes managing employee grievances, conducting investigations, and providing guidance and advice to managers and employees.
7. Develop and manage succession planning: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for developing and managing the company's succession planning process. This includes identifying key positions, developing succession plans, and ensuring that the company has a pipeline of talent to fill key roles.
8. Stay up-to-date with HR best practices: The Head of Human Resources will be responsible for staying up-to-date with HR best practices and ensuring that the company's HR policies and practices are compliant with relevant laws and regulations
Qualification/Experience
1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. At least 12 years of experience in HR management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
3. Knowledge of HR best practices and industry trends.
4. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with managers and employees at all levels.
6. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data driven decisions.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
8. Experience in the retail industry preferred.
