Our client, a leading Indian multi-national conglomerate has set up an ultra-modern medical facility to contribute to the prevention and treatment of cancer. Conceptualized as a centre of excellence in medical, surgical and radiation oncology and set up as a non-profit organisation, the hospital aims to bring, world class diagnostic and therapeutic facilities within easy reach of India's population at a reasonable and affordable cost.
The promoter organisation is part of a diversified group that has global presence, listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange in India and has ADRs listed on the New York Stock Exchange. They are world leaders in several industries and have a presence that stretches from commodities to high-tech manufacturing and technology.
We are seeking to identify the head of Human Resources for their hospital, to be based at their facility in Naya Raipur. This is a senior role and will be a part of the Executive Committee.
The Role
As the HR leader, you will be responsible for developing a robust talent strategy and employee value proposition in line with the business strategy and vision. You would be required to build a proactive HR function for employee relations, employee compensation, HR policies and regulatory compliance. Key focus areas include :
- Talent Acquisition & Manning: Create A+ player team by acquiring critical and best talent pool from the global pool of doctors and support staff.
- Build Critical Capabilities: Ownership for developing and delivering HR programs. Organizing & designing learning & development programs to enhance the skills and competencies.
- Budgeting: Develop a detailed talent budget based on the analysis of the current workforce and future requirements (project expansion) as per the strategy, incorporating the inputs from various functions & stakeholders.
- HR Operations : Manage entire employee life cycle including Performance Management System, R&R, policy adherence, MIS and drive employee relations by being a people champion and change agent
- Org Design : Facilitates organizational structure design/redesign efforts to ensure the realization of intended objectives wrt hospital operations and future growth project.
- Coaching : Coach and counsel the operations and leadership management in development and demonstration of world class leadership and management practices
Candidate Profile: -
- Should have 15-18 years of experience including leading the HR function for a Business
- Extensive experience in scaling up from initial stage, to build the organisation
- Should have worked in a mid to large scale project setup, stabilizing ops, creating and implement HR strategy, processes and policies, including specialized hiring & training.
The position is based at Naya Raipur and will report to the head of the organization.
