- He/She heads the human resources department in a hospital, overseeing the entire functioning of the department.
- This position reports directly to the CHRO of a hospital.
- Recruitment of employees, training, functioning, setting the salaries and benefits of employees and managing employee-employer relations, are some of the primary duties of a hospital HR director.
- Serve as a link between management and employees by handling questions.
- Leaves and attendance management.
- Handling the payroll.
- Coordinates management in interviewing, hiring, terminations, promotions, performance review etc.
- Administering disciplinary procedures.
- Exit-interviews.
- Full and final settlement.
- A hospital HR Head must communicate and negotiate with different types of employees, in various positions at the hospital
