Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager - HR Head to lead our Human Resources department. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of at least 15 years in HR leadership roles, with a strong strategic mindset and hands-on expertise in all facets of human resources management. The GM - HR Head will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies, policies, and programs that align with the organization's overall goals and foster a positive and high-performance work culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy: Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the company's business objectives, mission, and values. Provide strategic guidance to senior management on HR-related matters.
- Talent Acquisition: Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and selection of top-quality talent across various functional areas. Develop and maintain a strong employer brand to attract the best candidates.
- Performance Management: Design and implement performance management systems to ensure fair and objective evaluations, goal-setting, and performance improvement plans. Drive a culture of continuous feedback and development.
- Employee Engagement: Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction. Implement programs that promote a positive work environment, work-life balance, and recognition for outstanding contributions.
- Learning and Development: Identify training needs and create comprehensive learning and development programs to enhance employees' skills and competencies. Encourage a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- HR Payroll and Compliance: Develop and maintain HR payroll and procedures in compliance with employment laws and regulations. Keep abreast of changes in legislation and ensure the organization's HR practices remain compliant.
- Compensation and Benefits: Collaborate with the finance team to design and implement competitive compensation and benefits packages. Conduct regular benchmarking to ensure the company's rewards remain competitive.
- Organizational Development: Partner with senior management to identify organizational needs and develop strategies for talent management, succession planning, and workforce planning.
- Employee Relations: Handle complex employee relations matters and provide guidance to managers on HR-related issues. Mediate conflicts and implement strategies to maintain a harmonious work environment.
- HR Analytics: Utilize HR metrics and data analytics to make informed decisions and recommendations. Prepare regular reports on HR performance and trends to support strategic planning.
- HR Technology: Evaluate, implement, and optimize HRIS and other HR-related technology to streamline processes and enhance data management.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Champion diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a diverse and inclusive workforce that fosters creativity and innovation.
Requirements :
- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 15+ years of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a General Manager or HR Head capacity.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing HR strategies and programs that drive business results.
- Thorough understanding of HR functions, including talent acquisition, performance management, employee engagement, learning and development, and compensation.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Experience in leading HR functions in a large organization or multinational company is preferred.
- HR certifications (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) are highly desirable.
