Head of HR
We are an fashion apparell MNC with operations in 9 countries.
Job Summary:
As the Head of Human Resources for India, you will be a strategic leader overseeing the entire spectrum of HR functions in the country. This role requires a seasoned HR professional who can manage dayto-day operations, provide leadership in the India Project, and ensure the seamless integration of time & attendance and payroll systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical/Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
- Provide strategic guidance to senior leadership on HR matters.
- Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Act as a strategic partner to department heads and senior management.
- Drive HR initiatives that support organizational change and growth.
- Implement best practices for talent management and organizational development.
- Oversee the recruitment process, ensuring the acquisition of top talent.
- Collaborate with leadership to identify workforce needs and implement effective hiring strategies.
- Address complex employee relations issues and ensure a positive workplace culture.
- Implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Drive the performance management process and contribute to the development of a high-performance culture.
- Provide guidance on employee development and career planning.
- Ensure compliance with Indian labor laws and HR regulations.
- Lead HR audits and take corrective actions as needed.
- Develop and oversee training programs to enhance employee skills and capabilities.
- Facilitate leadership development programs.
- Oversee the administration of employee benefits, ensuring competitiveness and compliance.

HR requirements:
- Conduct in-depth research on local communities, resources, and labor markets.
- Engage with local stakeholders to build strong community relationships.
- Provide leadership in evaluating residential accommodation options for middle management
- Oversee research on nearby schools, colleges, hospitals, and malls for employee convenience.
- Lead visits to educational institutions, fostering collaboration opportunities for talent acquisition and development.
- Oversee the implementation and management of a robust time & attendance system.
- Ensure accurate tracking of employee work hours and enforce attendance policies.
- Provide leadership in payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll data.

Job Requirements:
Education:
- Master's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct on-site research and engage with local communities effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Willingness to travel frequently to project locations
Professional Qualification/Certification:
- Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Possession of relevant professional certifications such as SPHR, SHRM-SCP, or similar certifications would be advantageous.
Experience:
- 12 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in HR management in India, with a preference for experience in a manufacturing organization.
- Demonstrated experience in managing day-to-day HR operations, implementing strategic HR initiatives, and navigating complex employee relations issues.
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and HR best practices.
Travel: Willingness to travel
