HR Head - Second in line- reporting to the Head of HR
Role Synopsis As an integral part of the Institute the role in the area of Human Resource will work closely with the core team, key stakeholders and consulting agencies in creating the HR team for it. The HR management trainee will also plan and document HR and Organization Development (OD) related areas in the Institute project including organograms, profiles & personas of faculties, staff, etc.
Key Accountabilities
Make HR Policies for the Institute.
1. Assist in building a robust and highly capable team for the Institute.
2. Build the organogram with clear job designs and organization development framework.
3. Research institutional HR best practices on Governance frameworks, HR policies including people resourcing, HRD, Rewarding, Employee relations, Health/Safety/Welfare, and organization.
4. Investigate and explore world-class universities on their strategic human resource management, business partnerships, personnel administrations, and social partnerships to inculcate best in class practices at the Institute.
5. Support in envisioning digitization and digitalization of processes and systems.
6. Coordinate with internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
7. Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
8. Meet with stakeholders to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project
9. MBA in Human Resource from top management institution, preferably international.
Ideal Candidate Will be a Good mix of :
- Problem-solving and decision making: able to gather and understand important concepts in decision making. To be able to demonstrate the ability to identify the right, commercially appropriate solution.
- Financial management expertise: financial planning, tracking and management that needs to happen with multiple courses running globally with multiple vendors. Therefore, attention to detail and a basic/ good understanding of the fundamentals of finance would be ideal.
- Resilience and Energy: we believe in a healthy work/ life balance but candidates should be aware that this is a demanding fast paced environment with a high work volume, requiring both mental and physical resilience at times.
- Stakeholder management/ Influencing: is a vital skill given the nature and size of the organization and the number of both internal and external relationships that need to be managed.
