- We are seeking an experienced AVP/VP of HR with a strong background in technology to lead our HR department. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of HR practices and policies, as well as a robust knowledge of technology and its applications in the HR domain.
- This role requires a strategic thinker who can align HR initiatives with our business goals and drive technological advancements within the HR function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Maintain and enhance the organization's human resources by planning, implementing, and evaluating employee relations and HR policies, programs, and practices.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment and selection process, ensuring we hire the best talent.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Nurture a positive working environment and ensure compliance with labour regulations.
- Use HR technology tools to streamline HR processes and improve data management.
- Oversee payroll and Expense management to ensure timely and accurate processing of employee salaries, benefits, and deductions.
- Manage remote employees effectively, ensuring they are engaged and productive.
- Handle Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) activities and ensure a safe and respectful workplace.
- Develop and implement training and development programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Report to the board and management regarding the health and HR practices of the company.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest HR technology trends and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager.
- Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics.
- Knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Strong understanding of technology and its applications in HR.
- Experience with HR software and HR analytics tools.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the fintech or SaaS industry.
- Certification in HR technology or HR analytics.
- Familiarity with advanced HR technologies and platforms.
