Description
Reporting directly into the Executive Director/Managing Director and an HR team of 12, your responsibilities would include the following:
- Lead the HR portfolio as a Business HR for the entire business in a manufacturing set up
- Facilitating smooth corporate and plant operation with strong focus on HR activities like culture building, performance management structure, business HR, stakeholder management, strategy execution, succession planning, etc.
- Responsible for end to end HR activities from hire to retire process and make it more robust and uniform
- Leading to culture integration in terms of building productivity, introducing new best practice and driving performance
- Developing HR Capabilities across the organization to ensure the next phase of growth with strong ROI metrics
- Managing strong Rewards & Recognition programs, hire to retire programs etc. basis strong benchmarking against competitive and talent landscape
- Acting as an advisor to plants on industrial relations to help manage employee's grievances, and other activities
- Coaching, advising and influencing the management on operations, organisational development, and policy issues
- Articulating a vision, defining key values and instituting processes to pioneer the alignment of HR polices & strategies
- Work on key learning interventions to grow and groom talent internally, developing assessment centres and up-scaling internal capability around the same
Profile
- 10+ years of experience, predominantly in a manufacturing set up
- Experience across all aspects of Human Resource Operations, Strategic Planning & Leadership; acknowledged for establishing and strengthening HR systems and processes
- Excellence in managing HR Operations; providing advisory and consultancy on processes, programs & projects, developing & streamlining HR processes, enhancing operational effectiveness through transformation, automation and improvement initiatives
- Hands on in designing and executing strategic HR interventions
- Robust stakeholder management skills, with experience in working in an ambiguous environment
- Prior experience in managing a plant set up, with exposure to Industrial Relations as well
- Full time MBA from a Tier 1/Tier 2 institute
