Job Summary :
We are looking at hiring HR manager with significant hands on experience in People engagement and employee relations experience in a Contact Centre & BPO environment, High volume recruitment, Management of legal matters, Management of Statutory and Compliance activities as per local Labour Law.
Job Responsibility :
1. As a Management Team :
- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of SBS's policies, procedures and practices along with remuneration recommendations and improvements.
- Manage employee relation and performance issues
- Review and update our employment contracts and agreements.
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensures organization's compliance.
- Anticipate and resolve litigation risks and consult with legal counsel as appropriate, or as directed by the CEO, on personnel matters.
- Ensure our recordkeeping and data processing procedures comply with GDPR and Information Management System (IMS : QMS & ISMS) requirements
- Communicate changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensure that proper compliance is followed.
- Maintain responsibility for organization compliance with federal, state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.
- Drive cultural change through communications and initiatives providing recommendations
- Promote developing and supporting employees in their career with SBS.
2. As a Senior HR Manager :
- Identify needs and ensure employee training and development initiatives are delivered
- In line with the group culture deliver strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc.
- Work directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities on personnel matters.
- Ensure exit interviews are carried out to determine reasons behind separations.
- Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labour unions
- Promote and drive diversity and inclusion throughout the business ensuring progress is tracked and measured
- Manage internal communication projects
- Develop and maintain a human resource information system that meets the organization's personnel information need, providing regular and ad-hoc management information
- Track key HR metrics like cost per hire and retention rates and Oversee our payroll and performance evaluation systems
- Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, health and safety etc.
- Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics and implement functional HRMS and internal databases across all departments and locations
Job Requirement :
- Degree-level qualification in HR (or Business Management with a strong emphasis on HR) or equivalent, Master Degree in HR will be an advantage.
- Proven experience in HR-related management; preferably within a Contact Centre or BPO environment with international exposure - UK preferably.
- Experience in a key HR leadership role working directly with executive/senior level with the ability to influence and negotiate at a senior level.
- Thorough and up to date knowledge of Indian employment legislation and compliance.
