Current Scenario and Head of HR Need:
The company currently has a team of over 50 employees spread across Chennai (headquarters), Mumbai and Gurgaon. The team has strong experience in capital markets, treasury, Investor Relations & placements and Origination with many who have previously worked for large foreign and private sector Banks.
As the company continues to expand and add senior and mid-level professionals to the team, there is a need to hire a seasoned individual as the Head of HR & Branding. Key role would be to re-design and build HR Policies, as well as manage company's efforts in brand building and external communication.
Job Description:
The position offers unique opportunity to head HR and Branding for a fast growing Financial Institution. The Head of HR & Branding will report to the CEO and would have responsibilities including:
- Review and redesign HR Strategy, Policies and processes.
- Employee Training, both internal and external - technical as well as soft skills
- Compensation Benchmarking
- Develop the recruitment framework, manage ongoing recruitment
- Develop frameworks for the appraisal process (including the annual 360 process for senior management and others), manage the process on a quarterly basis
- Develop, separately, performance appraisal, training and monitoring of the partners- group within the company.
- Track the development of a second line
- Other initiatives for culture building and engagement with employees - gifts / key occasions etc.
- Alumni engagement
- Branding for the company -
Develop a detailed annual branding plan
Liaise with PR agency and other networks for effective placement
Assist in the organising of internal and external events / conferences etc.
Website design and management
Online presence
- The incumbent would also work closely with CEO, CFO and other Functional/ business heads in Chennai, Gurgaon and Mumbai. Consult with the parent group and other group companies as and when needed
Desired Qualifications:
- MBA from a good business school with more than 8 years of experience in HR.
Experience of HR in a leadership role in the services sector is preferred
Above all, he/she must be committed to the cause of People Development and to bring employees together to see, understand and work towards common vision and objectives of organisation.
- Moderate to significant branding experience. Able and willing to innovate in developing the company's brand, across various mediums
- Interest in Financial Inclusion.
- Moderate travel.
