Head of HR & Training
Location: Bangalore
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of HR & Training to oversee the human resources and training functions across our chain of Five 3/4 star hotels located in Tier 2 cities. This is a pivotal role that will require strategic thinking, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of the hospitality industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition:
- Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to attract and hire top talent across various roles within the organization.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with recruitment agencies and industry networks.
- Oversee the entire recruitment process, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
Training & Development:
- Design and deliver comprehensive training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of employees at all levels.
- Identify training needs through regular performance reviews and feedback mechanisms.
- Develop and implement a robust training calendar to ensure consistent and effective learning and development.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and growth.
HR Operations:
- Manage and oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, compensation and benefits, performance management, and employee engagement.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Pre-Opening / Acquisition Support:
- Provide strategic HR support for new hotel openings, including recruitment, onboarding, and training. and for acquired properties managing the transition and change.
- Develop and implement pre-opening / transition HR plans to ensure a smooth transition and successful launch.
Strategic HR Planning:
- Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business objectives.
- Analyze HR metrics and trends to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in HR leadership roles within the hospitality industry.
- Proven track record in managing HR operations for a multi-unit hotel chain.
- Experience in pre-opening hotel projects.
- Strong knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
