Head HR- International Airline
Role Purpose :
Lead the Human Resource function to work strategically with all management as a partner on organizational structure, employee direction, and optimization to enable and inspire all employees to excel in everything they do whilst ensuring compliance with all local legislation and company policy.
1. Strategic Partner :
- Support the organization effectively through talent planning, development, recruitment, and compensation
- Develop and implement retention strategies for high-performance and high-potential employees
- Develop and implement strategies to increase productivity, employee performance, and employee engagement
- Identify and act on opportunities to create and maintain a positive employee environment through effective communication, policies, and practices
- Coach Assistant Managers and Supervisors on people leadership and associated HR challenges
- Develop and implement HR policies and processes to realize business goals
- Provide strategic HR input by analyzing facts, records of employees, and external labor market trends
- Communicate and positively embed organizational values
- Ensure labor law as well as health and safety compliance and ensure employee welfare
2. Operations Partner :- Ensure timely recruitment of the right talent based on robust recruitment and selection process
- Develop and implement appropriate proactive and reactive HR policies, processes, and practices
- Maintain a strong employee record and retrieval system
- Proactive consultation and execution of HR matters
Actively participate in solving employee grievances
- Timely HR reporting and metrics
- Additional duties and responsibilities as required from time to time
3. Leadership :- Advocate and visibly apply a positive culture of high-performance teams and individuals
- Lead, develop and guide own team to success
- Ensure Assistant Managers and Supervisors are skilled in the roles of their employees as well as in setting performance standards and providing constructive feedback and coaching sessions
- Actively support the Service Centre Manager to ensure the Assistant Managers and Supervisors consistently behave as role models
- Partner with Assistant Managers and Supervisors in developing and implementing Performance Improvement Plans as required
Requirement Specifications :- Post-graduate degree with specialization in Human Resources from a reputable institute
- 12+ years of total experience in a leading HR role for an organization with 300+ employees
- Demonstrably strong leadership skills
- Result oriented
- Business acumen
- Excellent interpersonal skills across the hierarchy
- Sound knowledge of HR systems
- Working knowledge of labor law
