Title: Retail Head HR

Retail Talent Acquisition

- Develop and execute strategies to attract top talent

- Implement initiatives to enhance employee retention and reduce turnover rates.

- Monitor key metrics such as time-to-fill and retention rates.

- Improve processes to reduce cycle time for recruitment

Compensation Strategy

- Periodic compensation benchmarking exercises to ensure internal and external equity levels of staff compensation.

- Develop Compensation philosophy maintaining uniformity between brands yet differentiating them.

- Review incentive scheme to drive competitive behavior while selling.

- Monitor systems and processes for structured annual compensation review of store staff

Driving Retail Training Excellence

- Establish a framework on training for the brands

- Identify the training gaps and partner with brands to develop modules and training strategy to deliver desired behavior on the shop floor

- Identify and introduce cost effective and innovative techniques of training to meet the training needs of growing employee base across geography

- Drive audit and certification programs

- Monitor training effectiveness and suggest corrective steps for improvement.

Managing & partnering with external vendors

- Scan the environment to ensure best practices offered by various vendors. Manage and continuously evaluate the outsourcing agencies for effective service

- Ensure Service Level Agreements are being adhered to

Career Planning & Talent Development

- Drive program to identify and groom retail talent

- Devise processes to identify superior talent and create opportunities for them

- Constantly drive hiring of qualified retail talent into stores through a structured campus recruitment program at all levels.

Retail Operations

- Focus in driving operational excellence in retail HR processes through creation of dashboards, MIS for all generalist HR ops processes in retail.

- Liaison and direct all activities related to third party staffing agency and drive performance through structured reviews with all stakeholders.

Rewards, Recognition & Engagement

- Build a system for measuring, tracking and recognizing exceptional business performance & individual performance.

- Identify and action on needs of frontline team through an OHS.

- Identify and adapt engagement activities with the help of brands

Ensure Statutory Compliance

- Continuously assess the level of statutory compliance in various stores through legal

- Liaise with external agencies to audit the compliance through legal

- Stay updated on relevant Laws pertaining to a particular state Team Management

- Continuously review workload and structure within the team to ensure equitable distribution of load.

- Provide feedback on performance and coach to support their development
