About our Client:
Our client is a growing pharmaceutical organization with the aim to develop affordable generic medicines in various therapeutic segments such as respiratory, cardiovascular, anti-infective, central nervous system for global markets. Their diversified business portfolio includes healthcare products ranging from diagnostics, devices, finished formulations, cosmeceuticals, and active pharmaceutical ingredients. Based out of Mumbai they are currently looking for a seasoned HR professional with experience as Generalist and a flair for OD to drive the HR agenda for the organization.
Job Description:
- Reporting into the MD & CEO, you would be responsible for driving the HR agenda for the organization
- Develop organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues
- Implement human resources strategies by establishing department accountabilities, including talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, health and welfare benefits, training and development, records management, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention, and labor relations.
- Manage human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing staff job contributions
- Develop human resources operations financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances; aligning monetary resources; developing action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; minimizing the impact of variances.
- Accomplish special project results by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities
- Support management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analyzing information and applications.
- Guide management and employee actions by researching, developing, writing, and updating policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines; communicating and enforcing organization values.
- Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests
The Successful Candidate:
As a successful candidate you should be:
- Post Graduate in Human Resources with 10-15 years of work experience in an organization of repute.
- Candidate should have minimum 5 years of relevant experience especially leading an team of HR professionals
- Candidates with experience in pharma industry would be added advantage.
- Exposure to manufacturing setups would be preferred
- Ability to lead and inspire teams to consistently delivery high performance and continual improvements.
- Strong interpersonal skills to develop close relationship with key individual within the organization
