About Our Client:--
Our client is one of the most renowned PE/VC funds with offices across the globe and is the investment arm of a well known financial services set up. They have invested in over 100+ companies in sectors ranging from Financial Services, Fin Tech, Healthcare etc. With the growing business need they have identified the need for a strategic HR partner at a leadership level and to support their growth, they are currently looking to hire the Head of HR based out of their corporate office in Mumbai.
Job Description:--
Reporting to the MD and Regional HR Lead and in an Individual contributor role, you shall be responsible for:-
- Building out teams and offices
- Day to day responsibility for processes, compliances, recruitment, rewards, coaching in conjunction with group HR
- Working on the people development agenda for the business teams
- Establishing and managing relevant relationships with local HR vendors and partners
- Working with deal teams to support an investment thesis or due diligence from an HR perspective
- Providing guidance and support to portfolio companies on a need basis, across a variety of needs
The Successful Applicant:--
- Ideally, you have 12-15 years of post qualification experience from a pedigree HR institute (XLRI/TISS/SCMHRD) with an MNC/renowned consultancy. You have strategic HR business partnering experience and you have worked in organizations with smaller employee base/startups along with having worked with established bluechip companies as well. You may come from any services sector, however, candidates coming from Consulting/Financial Services, PE/VC/StartUps shall be preferred.
- A past experience in TA with a search firm may be preferred too. You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and impeccable presentation, presence and analytical skills to be able to contribute in a business partnering environment. You have the gravitas to be able to sit across the table with CEOs in different sectors and be a true HR business partner.
