Role:
- Developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization in India and Globally.
Responsibilities:
Talent Management:
- This includes formulating succession planning policies and applying effective talent management practices.
- Establish and implement a comprehensive Performance Management System within the organization.
- Ensure that the organizational mission, vision, strategy, and objectives are effectively translated and aligned with both departmental and individual work portfolios, including Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
Employee Relations & Union Management:
- Establish and implement HR policies that reflect best practices in labor relations and comply with applicable labor laws and regulations.
- Strategic management of union relations, settlements with unions.
- Controlling union activities and reducing union strength through strategic measures.
- Develop and implement HR strategies that align with organizational goals while considering the needs and concerns of unionized employees.
- Liaising between Management and workforce as well as building in benefits and policies to create a healthy workplace.
- Creating employee relations policies, introducing rewards & recognition, hosting team building events & promoting a healthy work life balance.
- Conducting of employee surveys to engage and also improve employee engagement with employees.
Sustainability Leadership:
- Integrated sustainability into HR practices, promoting eco-friendly initiatives and corporate social responsibility (CSR) programs that resonate with employees and stakeholders.
Talent Acquisition:
- To lead and oversee the organization's recruitment and talent acquisition strategies.
- Responsible for developing and implementing effective talent acquisition plans, sourcing top performing individuals that align with company values and goals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key industry stakeholders and networks.
- Brand building by participating in forums and educational institutes.
- Develop a strategy and execute the same to hire from educational institutes and build a pipeline of talent from campus.
Training & Development:
- Design and implement training programs tailored to the organizations need in order to maintain pace with business growth.
- Ensure implementation as per plan conducting employee training programs (functional & behavioural), and create a mechanism to measure effectiveness of the same.
Compliance & work place safety:
- Setting up policies & systems that ensure the adherence to the employee and labour laws as governed by the state.
- Ensure give a safe and comfortable environment for employee to perform to their best.
Compensation & Benefit:
- Define a fair, equitable and competitive total compensation and benefits package that fits and is aligned to our company's strategy and business goals.
- Ensure that compensation practices are in compliance with current legislation (pay equity, human rights, etc).
- Participate in salary and labour market surveys to determine prevailing pay rates and benefits.
Required Candidate profile:
- 16+ years plus experience person should be hands on with HR practices and should have set up all best HR systems and processes.
- Preferably person with some experience in Manufacturing Industry.
