Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Human Resources (Corporate) with a strong background in the manufacturing sector. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of 10-20 years in human resources business partner or head roles, preferably within a corporate environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead the HR function, drive organizational development initiatives, and support the company's growth and success in the manufacturing industry.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR strategies, policies, and programs to support the company's business objectives and foster a positive work culture aligned with corporate values.
- Lead and manage the HR team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure effective delivery of HR services and initiatives.
- Partner with senior leadership and department heads to understand business needs, identify talent requirements, and develop workforce plans to support organizational goals.
- Oversee all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, training and development, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Implement best practices in talent acquisition and retention, including employer branding, candidate sourcing, selection processes, and succession planning.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, including communication strategies, recognition programs, and employee feedback mechanisms, to enhance employee morale and productivity.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal requirements and industry trends.
- Lead organizational development initiatives, including organizational design, change management, and leadership development programs, to support business growth and effectiveness.
- Manage compensation and benefits programs, including salary benchmarking, incentive schemes, and employee benefits administration, to attract and retain top talent.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and legal, to support business objectives and ensure alignment of HR initiatives with overall company strategy.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven track record of 10-20 years in human resources business partner or head roles, preferably within the manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of HR best practices, labor laws, and regulations, with experience in developing and implementing HR policies and programs.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve organizational goals.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business needs into HR initiatives and solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proficiency in HRIS (Human Resources Information Systems) and MS Office suite.
- Experience managing HR operations in a corporate environment is highly desirable.
