We have been mandated by a large Global conglomerate into Metal and Mining business for the position of Head HRM Contract Labour Cell.
Position Title : Head HRM Contract Labour Cell

Education : MBA / PGDM
Experience:12.00 To 20.00 Years
Main Purpose:
Responsible for implementation and customization of strategies and policies on welfare and amenities for all employees (own & contract) within the units, provide guidance in interpretation and implementation of various welfare and amenities requirements and ensure legal compliances as per applicable statutes viz., Factories act / Shops & Establishment Act/Contract Labour (R & A ) Act etc.
The role is also responsible to facilitate capability building of contract employees to support automation for higher productivity and reduced number and pioneer initiatives for better service conditions to reduce feeling of discrimination and increase the motivation of contract workforce.
Key Deliverables:
1. Implement strategy/policy on welfare & amenities (including health & safety) for own & contract workers.
2. Provide guidance and ensure robust grievance redressal mechanism to address grievances of own employees, individual as well as collective through formal Grievance Mechanisms CWC, ZCS to secure expeditious redressal
3. Implement strategies/policies related to Contract Worker Management with a view to optimize number & enhance productivity
4. Review and monitor Statutory Compliance to ensure adherence to relevant statutes related to CL&R act across the BU to achieve zero violation
5. Ensure better service conditions and uniform amenities on shop floor between contract labour and own employees to reduce feeling of discrimination and increase the motivation of contract workforce
6. Management of human resources of the department to have an engaged, competent team and enable a working environment that drives high performance.
