Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of human resource policies for the school (Faculty, support staff, management, students, external vendors) and frameworks (e,g. compensation) and manage its lifecycle including updates to them
- Spearhead Performance management, Talnet Management, Employee Engagement, Talent Retention
- Recruitment: manage the recruitment plans, including writing and posting job announcements for all categories and levels of employees
- Handle Traiing & Development- training plans for employees not limiting to teaching faculty but also for non-academic staff to help upskill and aid in continuous human resource development
- HR Operations:
- Distribute payroll checks, earnings statements and tax information
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, including affirmative action and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO)
- Keep the staff directory and organizational charts up to date
- Maintain records and reports, including teacher certifications and professional development hours
- Oversee hiring and exit interviews and procedures, including new employee orientation and the processing of initial and terminal paperwork
- Manage benefits administration - Insurance, Reimbursements, Rewards mgmt., Travel & entertainment policies
- Serve as liaison between administration, faculty, professional and support staff and the school management
Candidate Requirement:
20+ yeasr of experience with a HR degree
