Candidate Profile :
A post graduate degree/diploma in Personnel Management (Reputed Institute like XLRI, TISS, SIBM, Pune) with a minimum of 12 to 15 years hands on experience in Human Resources Management. Multi-location operations and multi-business interests will be preferred
JOB PURPOSE :
Provide leadership & guidance in developing & executing a sound HR strategy in support of the overall business plan & strategic direction of the organization, specifically in the areas of the company culture, compensation & rewards and employee relations
Reporting to the MD & CEO or the Group President, Strategy & Business Performance.
Critical accountabilities that must be achieved in order that the job purpose is fulfilled.
1) To oversee the recruitment for all vacancies of managers & higher-level jobs.
2) To monitor & contribute to the development of competitive compensation & benefits, policies & practices in order to attract, engage & retain high-quality, motivated employees in the organization.
3) To plan & implement satisfactory succession planning schemes in order to facilitate uninterrupted supply of mid and senior managers.
4) To plan & implement efficient leadership development programs to ensure a high-quality talent pipeline.
5) To align all HR strategies to the dynamic changes in the business strategy from time to time.
6) Employee Engagement to keep a motivated workforce
Skills and Knowledge :
- Sound knowledge of good HR practices
- Practical cost-effective ways of handling employee grievances regarding compensation & benefits practices in the organization.
- Sound approach to managing subordinates as well as dealing with labor unions.
- Adequate knowledge of all labor laws.
