Head - Human Resource
Key Responsibilities:
Recruitment Strategy & Staffing:
- Create and execute recruitment strategies aimed at attracting top-tier candidates for sales, corporate, and specialized roles such as MIS staff, data analysts, SFA, and DMS personnel.
- Build and nurture partnerships with recruitment consultants and agencies to enhance the efficiency of the hiring process.
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from posting job openings and screening resumes to conducting interviews and negotiating offers.
Onboarding & Employee Integration:
- Develop and implement robust onboarding programs that facilitate a smooth transition for new hires into the company's culture.
- Lead orientation sessions and provide resources to help new employees settle into their roles quickly and effectively.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Supervise and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and high performance.
- Conduct regular feedback and performance evaluations to identify growth opportunities and ensure team development.
Employee Relations & Conflict Management:
- Serve as a key advisor to management and employees on HR matters, promoting a positive and inclusive workplace environment.
- Address and resolve workplace conflicts and grievances efficiently, utilizing best practices in conflict resolution.
Performance Management:
- Implement a performance evaluation system that promotes accountability and drives employee engagement.
- Develop training and development programs to enhance employee skills and align performance with business objectives.
Policy Development & Compliance:
- Review and update HR policies related to employee benefits, workplace behavior, and leave to ensure they are up-to-date with legal and regulatory standards.
- Ensure that all HR practices comply with current labor laws and industry regulations.
HR Metrics & Data Reporting:
- Track and analyze key HR metrics to evaluate the success of HR initiatives and inform strategic decisions.
- Prepare and present comprehensive reports on recruitment, retention, and employee engagement for senior leadership.
Database & Record Management:
- Maintain a detailed and organized database of candidates, tracking their progress throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure all employee documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with company policies.
Employee Engagement & Cultural Initiatives:
- Lead initiatives that foster a collaborative, inclusive, and continuously improving workplace culture.
- Develop mechanisms for collecting employee feedback to enhance satisfaction and drive organizational improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline; an advanced degree or HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is advantageous.
- At least 8 years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Proven expertise in talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, and policy development.
- Strong network of industry contacts and relationships with recruitment consultants and talent pools.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, along with experience using HR management systems.
