Head - HSSE - Infrastructure

This position entails:

- Leading the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of a safety culture

- Building strategic and operational capability and focus of the overall health safety and environmental function

- Identifying and ensuring that Peak has robust and effective risk management processes, capability, focus and discipline associated with Safety and Environment

- Leading the development and implementation of group Health, Safety & Environment policy, strategies, systems and standards and initiatives

- Drive the identification & communication of safety and environment responsibilities & accountabilities for critical roles

- Build awareness of a safety culture among leaders, and actively contribute to its development through awareness, leadership & accountability so that Safety 1st is the primary driver of all behaviour

- Provide coaching and mentoring to operational HSE staff to ensure alignment and capability with respect to driving the Safety 1st vision.

- Contribute to performance review of staff, including recruitment, structured guidance and mentoring as appropriate.

- Provide clear and consistent Group-wide messages
