Director - Head of HR Technology

Our client is a transatlantic consumer, corporate and investment bank offering products and services across personal, corporate and investment banking, credit cards and wealth management, with a strong presence in UK and the US. Their goal is to become the bank of choice by providing superior services to customers and clients and supporting stakeholders via a commercially successful business that generates long-term sustainable returns.

HR Technology & Change will seek to simplify processes and ensure they have clear ownership and transparency whilst creating one source of truth through complete and accurate data and use of simplified flexible technology that integrates into the broader IT landscape.

HR Technology & Change is dedicated to implementing new processes, technology and analytics that will underpin how HR operates and improve the business interaction with HR. Part of the team's role is to focus on the Digital Colleague Experience - to deliver amazing digital interactions for our clients, customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities will include:

- Key lead in engaging directly with all stakeholders to achieve coherent strategy for HR Technology that aligns with the broader requirements and direction of Bank.

- Accountable for the teams delivering HR change spanning Technology, Data and MI workstreams in India

- Leads the capability development of all areas covering Technology (both the - Run the Bank- and - Change the Bank- teams), Process, Data and MI

- Be accountable & take functional ownership of deliveries by the India multi-location team.

- Develop efficiencies and scale through implementation and execution of LEAN and Dev Ops.

- Contribute to IT strategic initiatives across RFIT and beyond, both within India and more globally.

To qualify for this position will require:

- Minimum 15+ years of experience in working with Technology to deliver complex projects

- Delivery of HR platforms for large organisations

- Proven experience in building and driving effective application development teams

- Proven track record of managing large teams across locations and functional expertise

- Strong management experience in managing development & vendor teams

- Previous experience in running large scale transformation programs in an organisation

- Proven ability to develop effective relationships with senior Technology and Investment Banking and/or Risk stakeholders

- Clear ability to communicate clearly and effectively verbally and in written / presentation form

- Good knowledge of IT system concepts, products, practices relevant to a large investment/corporate banks

- Good knowledge of investment banking front office business

- Knowledge of the regulatory environment relevant for large complex financial institutions
