As the Head of HR Shared Services, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the HR Shared Services function across our company's multiple geographic locations in India. You will lead a team of HR professionals to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of HR services to our employees and stakeholders. Your role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, implementing best practices, and driving HR process improvements to support the company's overall HR strategy.
Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership and vision to the HR Shared Services team, ensuring alignment with the company's HR objectives and business goals.
- Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs to optimize efficiency and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Manage and continuously improve HR processes related to employee lifecycle management, including onboarding, benefits administration, employee data management, performance management, and offboarding.
- Drive the development and maintenance of HRIS systems and databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date employee information.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for HR Shared Services, ensuring timely delivery of services and customer satisfaction.
- Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Lead and mentor the HR Shared Services team, fostering a positive and high-performance culture, providing guidance, feedback, and development opportunities.
- Stay updated on emerging HR trends, technologies, and best practices, and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and automation within HR Shared Services.
- Analyze HR data and metrics to generate meaningful insights and reports, providing recommendations to management for decision-making purposes.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior management on HR Shared Services matters, including resource planning, budgeting, and strategic workforce initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements :
- A master's degree in HR or a relevant discipline
- Experience of 15 years in HR Shared Services or a similar HR operations leadership role, preferably in a large organization with a geographically dispersed workforce.
- In-depth knowledge of HR policies, practices, and employment laws in India.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and implement HR technology solutions.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use HR data and metrics to drive insights and inform decision-making.
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and results-oriented approach, with a focus on delivering high-quality services to internal customers.
