We are hiring for a Head HR for one of leading apparel brand for their Manufaturing Units.
Responsibility:
To ensure Healthy Employee Relations for uninterrupted Production & Services by having High Engagement of Employees and 100% statutory compliance across all Garmenting Plants at Bangalore. The role holder is responsible to plan, organise and enhance the execution and effectiveness of Human Resource.
JD:
Maintain Cordial Industrial Relation in the Plant to create conducive working environment:
1. Understanding the Management strategies.
2. Interact with the HODs and Staff members
3. Resolve any grievances of the employees in the shopfloor wrt HR & Admin
4. Operating the HR Champion initiative and staying connected to the Depts
5. Maintain discipline in the plant
6. Development of strategy for employee's growth considering forecasting as well as growth of the company (Succession planning, Cross functional transfer/moves etc.)
7. Development of workforce strategies/ policies in line with local demographic specific inputs to achieve organizational goals and objectives in collaboration with Union.
8. Development of strategy for efficiency improvement through making organization lean enough to be competitive.
Legal Compliance:
1. Ensuring HR related legal compliance both for company employees and contract employees
2. Carry out periodic audit
3. Close all points that come up from external Government inspection.
4. Monitor and bring to a legal conclusion to all employee related legal cases in different courts
Contract Labour Management:
1. Ensure legal compliance for all Contractors.
2. Ensure available of contract manpower as per requirement of production
3.Audits
Liaisoning:
1. Liaison with Government and political local bodies
2. Interact with neighboring industries
Employee Development:
1. Facilitate employee development initiative like RLA/EBL/EFL
2. Ensure bridging of competency gap both for workmen and Staff members by identifying training needs and organizing trainings
3. Operating Quality Circles
4.Implement strategic Training and Organizational Development plans to meet the Organization objectives towards skill and capability building of employees
Attendance and Payroll:
1. Ensure the attendance system is operational and salary and wages are paid on time and correctly
2. Monitor absenteeism and OT
Manpower Budgeting and Hiring:
1. Manpower budgetting
2. Ensure hiring of manpower as per the manpower budget
