Job Overview:

The HR Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of HR operational processes and ensuring the efficient and effective administration of HR policies, procedures, and programs. This role involves managing employee relations, HR systems, compliance, benefits administration, payroll, and performance management. The HR Operations Manager will work closely with other HR team members and departments to support the organization's goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

HR Operations Management:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the HR department.

- Implement and manage HR policies, procedures, and programs.

- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.

Employee Relations:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee inquiries and issues.

- Address employee concerns and resolve conflicts in a timely and effective manner.

- Promote a positive work environment and culture.

HR Systems and Data Management:

- Maintain and update HR information systems (HRIS).

- Ensure the accuracy and confidentiality of employee records and data.

- Generate reports and analytics to support HR decision-making.

Benefits Administration:

- Oversee the administration of employee benefits programs.

- Manage benefits enrollment, changes, and terminations.

- Liaise with benefits providers to resolve issues and improve service delivery.

Payroll Management:

- Oversee the payroll process to ensure accurate and timely payment of salaries.

- Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and reporting requirements.

- Resolve payroll discrepancies and answer employee payroll-related questions.

Compliance and Risk Management:

- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulations.

- Conduct regular audits of HR practices and procedures.

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

Team Leadership:

- Supervise and mentor HR staff.

- Delegate tasks and projects to HR team members.

- Promote teamwork and collaboration within the HR department.

Qualifications:

- Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in HR operations or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and employment laws.

- Experience with HRIS and other HR software systems.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.

- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.

- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
