We are at present having a senior position as HEAD - HR OPERATIONS for a reputed Indian EPC company for THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE LOCATION at KOLKATA location

Reports To : Head HR

Purpose:

The position will implement long term HR strategy around HR Operations and talent transformation, drive the execution and champion the policies and processes related to integrated HRM, Talent Management, Employee Engagement and drive operational efficiencies related to overall productivity and support business objectives. The role focuses on overall leadership building, organizational development and lead HR digital transformation programs

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

- Develop and implement talent management strategies aligned with the organization's goals and objectives. This involves identifying business critical roles, assessing talent needs, and creating talent development plans.

- Provide professional expertise and support in the design, development and implementation of the talent review process that is required to achieve business goals and results in the creation of an internal bench of top talent.

- Drive and implement HR digitization programs on a sustained basis ensuring their effectiveness across the organization leveraging and utilizing machine learning and artificial intelligence.

- Utilize HR analytics and metrics to champion HR operations and to measure the effectiveness of talent management and organizational development programs.

- Manage the maintenance and execution of the performance management system, ensure periodic performance dialogue, monitor effective feedback mechanism processes thereby enabling performance improvement plans, structured job rotation for development of talent pipeline and implement best-suited performance evaluation instruments.

- Collaborate with Line managers to define talent requirements and lead overall talent acquisition processes including leadership and strategic hiring. Develop and oversee effective onboarding programs to support new employees' integration and engagement.

- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes employee engagement and satisfaction, implement employee engagement initiatives, including surveys which lead to achievable action plans, recognition programs, and team-building activities.

- Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, career development and succession planning.

- Create and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the company's diversity and inclusion strategic plan.

- Ensure that organization-wide talent management and performance management initiatives are focused and aligned on improving operational and program efficiencies and effectiveness.

- Strong Leadership, Vision, analytical, conceptual and problem solving abilities.

- Should have strong understanding of HR Management - People, processes, Systems and Structures and their synergistic impacts on Organizational goals.

- A mature understanding and experience in integrating HR Management with Business requirements.

- Should be Expertised in working in fast-paced, high-tech environments requiring skills in Leadership, innovations, human resource management, team development, change management and training.

- Highly effective in utilizing resources , re-defining ,re-designing, improving processes, energizing employees.

- Linking of Performance Management with Training and Development , employee career growth and Career progressions.

- Thorough working knowledge in SAP HR & HRMS (SuccessFactors / Workday / Darwinbox) etc.

- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and self-initiative
