About Our Client
Our client is an American MNC and a globally established provider of luxury goods. Headquartered in Delhi, they are now looking to aggressively expand their footprint across India.
Job Description
- Reporting to a Regional Head of Human Resources (whose mandate extends across multiple continents), you will head the entire Human Resources function for the organization, and be based in the Delhi corporate office. This is a new role mandated by the current and projected size of the organization, as the responsibilities were previously shared by a more junior incumbent and the regional head.
- Your responsibilities will encompass the entire generalist function to provide support to the business, as well as supervising specific functional verticals within the human resources domain. The human resources team is fairly lean at the moment, and you will have support from three established team members handling the specific functional domains of talent acquisition, compensation and benefits and talent management, as well as three more junior staff.
- Given the expansion plans of the organization in India, you will be expected to play an especially stellar role in talent acquisition and talent management, as well as introducing and implementing any relevant processes required to support a larger organization. There is also a clear likelihood of further human resources functions being required in the near future, and you would be expected to pilot an effective expansion of the human resources domain.
The Successful Applicant
This is clearly a challenging and intense assignment and we required individuals with the following attributes:
- To be ideally based in Delhi NCR, and relocate with family if necessary
- Excellent educational pedigree in human resources
- At least 12 - 15 years experience in the human resources domain
- Experience heading and growing at least a mid-sized MNC organization
- Highly skilled communicator - this is essential
- The organization is largely consensus driven and we are looking for individuals who lead by influence rather than by individualism. Given the background of the organization, there is currently a high level of regional involvement and we expect the candidate to handle the necessary transitions in a professional and efficient manner.
