We, Empyrean Partners, one of India’s leading search and selection firm, are looking for a HR Head Position for an International Consulting Firm
The position can be based at Delhi or Mumbai.
- The Head of Human Resources has ultimate responsibility for all people based activity within an organization from both an operational and strategic perspective.
- The position would handle full array of human resource elements including organizational design, talent acquisition, retention strategies and succession planning, performance management systems, employee relations, compensation and benefits and other reward mechanisms among other
The position will report to the CEO and works closely other department heads.
Essential Responsibilities
- Lead and implement a formal HR strategy that is aligned with business goals and translate it into appropriate policies and process
- Put together and run robust HR processes to ensure seamless delivery and efficient risk management
- Manage the HR operating budget with the focus on enhanced productivity, better customer service
- Partner with key senior executives to coach them on talent management strategies and identify key leadership development opportunities for select talent on their teams
- Execute/implement global policy and HR processes to ensure consistency and alignment with APAC and Group
- Ensure that all work activities be carried out consistently with the corporate quality processes and occupational safety rules; in case of any deviations from respecting them, adopt and implement corrective action and monitor its efficiency.
- Demonstrate strong business acumen towards supporting the CEO in due diligence evaluation, organizational planning and restructuring initiatives
- Constantly review and challenge existing norms and champion strategic changes with a view to continuously improve overall service delivery of the HR Team
Skills Required/Desired:
- Previous experience of managing a Human Resources team
- Can quickly establish credibility and respect and build strong working relationships with department managers. Demonstrable maturity, professionalism and gravitas
- Commercial acumen - has a good overall understanding of company finances and uses this information to push back and support managers in resource and succession planning
- Able to problem solve both operational and strategic issues through a pragmatic and commercially sound approach

Essential Qualification
- Post Graduate/MBA in Human Resources/Industrial Relations from Premier Institute
- A seasoned HR professional with approximately 10 years of overall experience and at least the last 2/3 years in a significant human resources role, preferably in the services sector
