Role:
- To lead the HNI / Events function, which is one of the key vertical within the organisation, fund raising division, and to be accountable for annual fund raising targets for the organisation in complete alignment with the organisation’s Vision, Mission, Values, Organisational objectives and Annual Operating Plan.
- Develop a sustainable and efficient Retail / HNI fund raising strategy for the organisation and the accomplishment of the strategy
Specific Responsibilities:
Events / HNI:
- To develop the events strategy and manage the events programme in order to create a portfolio of annual events
- Structure events/ galas across the geographies in India in a phased manner there by maximize the targeted revenue for the charity
- To be responsible for the planning, management and execution for the organisation's events and other existing events
- Develop strategies to identify and build the HNI customers for the charity thereby achieving targeted revenues
- Develop product lines in alignment with the interest of the target audience.
Donor Relations:
- Ensure effective Customer Relationship Management (CRM) is in place
- Effective management and liaison with our Strategic Partners, Institutional funders and Corporations
- To meet customer expectations, particularly in terms of Quality and Timeliness in line with organisational standards, procedures and guidelines
Leadership:
- As a part of the leadership team, facilitate strategic assistance to the CSO and the leadership.
- Set and demonstrate expected workplace behaviors
Team management:
- Provide Leadership to team of professionals in line with the organisation's values
- Mentor and assist team members with career planning
- Manage performance by establishing and reviewing objectives on a regular basis
Reporting to - CSO
Staff Reporting - Sr. Manager – HNI / Events
- Fundraising team at different organisation's Geographies.
Desired Competencies
- Knowledge of Indian & International markets and fund raising for charity
- Knowledge of conceptualizing and implementing large scale events for the purpose of fundraising for charity
- Very strong acumen in Business Development and marketing
- Knowledge of CRM implementation and sustenance
- Ability to travel

Qualification and Experience:
- Management degree or similar professional qualification from a reputed institution
- 10/15 years experience in Events and managing HNI customers - 5 years must have been in a similar leadership role
- Leading global fund raising experience covering India / International markets with proven track record of performance in similar role
