Function: Achieve profitable growth in Health and PA lines of business in line with company’s strategy.

Broad Role and Responsibilities:

1. Lead the Health Underwriting Line of Business

2. Assist functional head in devising and implementing company strategy for profitable development of Health and Personal Accident lines of business

3. Monitor top and bottom line to ensure achievement of strategy plan targets

4. Review and updation of underwriting manual and underwriting guidelines for new products

5. Review and ensure implementation of underwriting guidelines

6. Assist sales in business development including regular liaison with intermediaries and clients Liaise with relevant stakeholders in company especially actuarial, claims and operations for smooth conduct of business

7. Assist Product Development team for introduction of new products and fine tuning of existing products.

Credentials Required:

1. We are looking for professionals currently working with General Insurance / Health Insurance industry in Health Underwriting.

2. Minimum 10 to 12 years of experience in Health Underwriting

3. Applicants are preferred with medical background.

4. Experience in managing teams

5. Insurance qualifications ( Associate/ Fellow of Insurance Institute of India)
