Futureleap Search has been mandated by a well funded music tech company to hire Head of Growth based out of Mumbai.
Marketing Strategy:
- You should be able to develop and articulate clear growth strategies aligned with the company's overall goals & vision by leveraging data driven insights and market intelligence
- You would Own and Manage the marketing life-cycle from concept to creation, leading the path to grow sales thereby growing the product penetration into newer markets and deeper engagement with the users
- You would be responsible to conduct market research and analyze the outcome to identify Target Groups across the globe and using that information to plan marketing initiatives.
- You will plan, execute and optimize digital campaigns across channels and platforms. These will include Paid marketing, SEO, email marketing, partnerships, influencer network, etc
- You would be expected to create org's Brand awareness through activities (ATL & BTL) and enhance communication to the potential users through different channels. The outcome should be to enable winning strategies for the org including engagement and retention
- Drive partnerships to create amplify brand visibility, reach new audience resulting in Top of the Funnel and user acquisition
- Plan, forecast, budget and allocate resources optimally across activities / channels to drive sales and optimize marketing costs (CAC / ROAS) and drive campaign strategies across channels. Constantly monitor the essential metrics for the organization to drive business growth, globally
- You should have eye for detail, handle data collation and analysis to enable better decision making & delivery of new User Acquisition. You will be expected to do A/B testing to create data driven strategies
Leadership & Team building:
- Build and lead a team of growth marketeers in all aspects of marketing - Performance marketing, SEO, Socials & Content
- Drive collaborative efforts for growth with cross-functional teams
- Use marketing intelligence to collaborate with the Product Team and give inputs to help them enhance the features to make the product more user focused and drive business
- Build execution strategy by involving key stakeholders including Operations, Tech and Design teams
Collaboration:
- Collaborating with sales and customer success teams to understand customer responses /feedback and allocate resources and intelligence to drive decisions on the acquisition strategies
- Ensure and enhance communication between teams and help address queries and solve problems, real time
- Build a cohesive feedback mechanism with product and sales team in a structured manner.
- Review ROI of marketing spends made and continually work on optimization resulting in better customer reach and acquisition
Industry & Customer orientation:
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in music education and technology, and build intelligence in the marketing campaigns
- Monitor the performance of the campaigns and activities at all stages and work with the stakeholders to continuously enhance the outcomes and ROIs
Expected Skills:
- We are looking at a Digital Marketing Professional with exposure to D2C businesses to head this role.

- A qualified masters in Marketing Management from a reputed institute
- Thorough understanding of marketing campaign management across platforms
- Excellent Analytical Skills and tools including CRM (Salesforce)
- Up-to-date understanding of performance marketing, trends & best practices.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience in a D2C or Subscription business with 2 years in managing marketing Teams
- Excellent Presentation skills with impeccable verbal and written communication
- Good to have - love for music (preferably having learnt an instrument or having attended singing classes)
