Title: Head Group Engagement, Learning & Development

Reports to: Group Chief Human Resources Officer

Experience: 10 years of experience in Human Resource Department preferably in Learning and Development Function.

Job Purpose: To oversee the development of Engagement, Learning & Development department, set performance metrics, evaluate productivity and help employees create long-term career plans within the organization.

Key Accountabilites:

Strategic:

- Develop, maintain and execute short and long term Engagement, Learning & Development strategies through partnership with Business Heads.

- Use broad strategic thinking to analyze the characteristics of the business environment and its challenges in order to develop programs accordingly.

- Predict the learning opportunities emerging for every business or function ahead of time by tracking the changes within areas of the markets served, the competition as well as the changing social political, technological and economical landscape.

- Design framework for the Engagement, Learning & Development Department and transfer the vision to the team members.

Financial:

- Grant approval on the annual budget for the Engagement, Learning & Development department.

- Divide the annual budget on the countries and approve calendars accordingly.

- Own the costs of planned programs and keep them within budgets.

- Ensure the Return on Investment of any Engagement, Learning & Development programs.

Operational:

- Manage content design and curricula development by promoting collaboration, partnerships, and relationships among the participants and business heads Lead implementations of designed programs and help ensure reinforcement of business objectives.

- Prioritize training courses and engagement programs Grant approvals on external and internal training courses.

- Establish and monitor learning methodology, performance services methodologies, performance improvement and measurement.

- Monitor the creation of user guides including all functionality specifications and modify accordingly as business change.

- Analyze the characteristics of existing and emerging technologies and leverage appropriately.

- Analyze programs- results by communicating with business heads and reviewing Managers- Engagement, Learning & Development reports.

- Lead the implementation of employee engagement and learning and development E- Systems.

- Meet trainers on quarterly basis to ensure values and vision are transferred accurately and to obtain their direct feedback on the process.

People Management:

- Lead, develop and promote employees within the Engagement, Learning & Development Team.

- Ensure the Engagement, Learning & Development department retain talents Ensure.

- Engagement, Learning & Development team is responsible for compliance with applicable policies and procedures.

Product and Process Improvement:

- Offer thought leadership regarding organization and people- related strategies and executions.

- Partner with senior members of various internal departments to ensure that E, L&D department understands the strategic vision of key stakeholders.

- Introduce the improvements in technology and bring more and more digitization into the space of Engagement, Learning & Development.

Qualification and Experience:

- Master's degree in Education, Organizational Development, Human Resources or relevant field.

- Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD) certification is a plus.

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong business development and program management skills in corporate settings.

- Proficient knowledge in Human Psychologies- theories and employees relations.

- Ability to simultaneously manage complex business, organizational, and managerial needs.

- Strong networking and relationship building experience.

- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft office.

- Proficiency in English.
