Job Description :

- Seeking a highly experienced and motivated individualto join as the Head of Government Affairs.

- The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of experience in government relations, public policy, or related fields, with a strong understanding of the Indian regulatory landscape, particularly in the renewable energy sector. Experience working with relevant ministries and industry bodies is highly desirable for this role.

Description :

- Develop and implement strategies to effectively engage with government stakeholders, including ministries, regulatory agencies, and industry associations.

- Monitor and analyze policy and regulatory developments at the national, state, and local levels that impact the renewable energy sector, and provide strategic guidance to senior management on advocacy initiatives.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key government officials, policymakers, and influencers to advocate for policies that support the growth of renewable energy and address regulatory challenges.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, regulatory, and business development, to develop and execute advocacy campaigns and initiatives.

- Lead efforts to influence the development of legislation, regulations, and incentive programs that promote renewable energy adoption and drive market growth.

- Monitor and respond to public consultations, inquiries, and requests for information from government agencies, ensuring timely and accurate submissions on behalf of the company.

Profile :

- Minimum of 15 years of experience in government affairs, public policy, regulatory affairs, or related roles, with a focus on the energy sector.

- Strong understanding of the Indian political and regulatory environment, with experience navigating regulatory processes and engaging with government stakeholders.

- Proven track record of successfully influencing policy outcomes and shaping regulatory frameworks to support business objectives.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues, identify opportunities, and develop actionable advocacy strategies.

- Self-starter with the ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

- Experience working with industry associations, trade bodies, and other stakeholders in the renewable energy sector is a plus.

- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize information and communicate complex concepts effectively.
