Head/GM/VP - Finance - CA

Position - GM/VP Finance [ In the Hierarchy it will be a Head Finance Role ]

CTC - Up to 25Lac p/a + Applicable Esops

Accounting and internal control

- Ensure books of accounts are representative of the affairs of the Company and are kept in accordance with applicable accounting standards & policies. Lead month end closing process in the Oracle ERP system.

- Preparation of all financial reporting materials and metrics for internal reporting, MIS for Board of Directors and Auditors. Leading statutory and internal audits.

- End to end responsibility of settlement and reconciliation process.

- Ensure that proper internal checks and controls are in place and are being followed across critical Finance processes such as vendor payments, AR processes etc

Taxation and regulatory compliance -

- Working with taxation consultants to freeze tax positions adopted by the company. Timely and correct filing of direct and indirect tax related returns and handling assessments.

- Develop deep understanding of the regulatory landscape. Assess the impact of all relevant changes to regulatory requirements and develop policies and procedures to ensure the company is fully compliant.

- Ensure that the all corporate and secretarial activities are performed according to secretarial standards

Treasury -

- Oversee cash flows and treasury to ensure liquidity requirements. Coordinate and manage wealth management partners for optimizing yields on treasury portfolio

Legal and risk mitigation -

- Manage the legal controller function, which includes ensuring legal compliance across the Company

- Providing legal support and advice/guidance to business teams, including enquiries on contractual obligations

- Review all contractual documents prior to execution, including checking any specific requirements in case of international contracts.

- Ensuring that the Company, its Directors and the Management are sufficiently covered against all types of risk and litigation

- Ensuring that the Company and Management are aware of all potential risks and their impact on the Company, including those arising from legal & regulatory changes, and taking adequate measures to mitigate such risks

Investor relations and M&A :

- Assist during fundraising process especially in due diligence on the Company and finalizing legal documents.

- Manage relationships with finance teams of key private equity investors

Business Finance and banking -

- Managing banking relationships to facilitate loans to the provider ecosystem

- Enabling banking inclusion to the company's network of providers

Requirements:

- Minimum 8-12 years of overall combined accounting and finance experience

- Chartered Accountant [Must]

- Excellent MS Excel, financial accounting systems user and administration skills

- Ability to execute projects on time and to work collaboratively in a team environment
