Head/GM - Marketing - BPO/ITES
You will play a lead role in managing the demand generation activities, branding, analyst & advisory relations, thought leadership content development, and solution marketing and responsible for creating measurable business opportunities for Sales using the most impactful marketing activities.
Work with global sales teams to establish the best marketing strategy for the different industries that are targeted.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the development of branding and corporate identity initiatives.
- Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions and other marketing projects.
- Develop and manage marketing budgets.
- Accountable for marketing contribution to sales pipeline and revenue.
- Establish and grow a target market share.
- Monitor costs and budgets.
- Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives.
- Offer expert advice to develop innovative advertising, public relations, social media and events.
- Negotiate with media partners to guarantee advantageous contracts.
- Work with new business development team and sales teams on brand initiatives.
- Manage agency providers, consultants, freelancers, and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management.
- Enables the team to efficiently execute multi-channel marketing (Events, search, social, digital advertising.) and leverage modern marketing tools and techniques (orchestration, audience management, etc.).
- Develop the analyst and advisory relations to establish its presence as a preferred thought leader among leading analyst and advisory firms.
- Work closely with services and CoE teams to strategize on services and solutions positioning, market validation, messaging, and roadmap development to ensure strong industry endorsement and new business development.
- Establish thought leadership to ensure its vision of an industry leader, services, solutions, and new launches.
- Leverage insights to monitor program results and adapt strategy and execution as required.
- Ensure continuous optimization of marketing activities by reviewing and improving content and tactics.
- Oversee the operation of a company's website or email marketing program and provide analytics reviews.
- Build and motivate a high-performance team of marketing professionals. Ensures that the team has the competencies and ability to address current needs.
Qualification And Experience:
- MBA with Minimum 15+ years of experience in marketing with BPO/ITES or Advertising Agency and working with global teams.
- A successful track record of managing new media and digital channels, including website development.
- Proven record of forging strong and effective relationships within the media environment and with internal stakeholders.
- Sensitivity to the regional, international and multicultural environments in which the institution operates.
- Experience in event management.
- Proficient in handling internal/external brand building and communication activities and prioritizing against tight deadlines.
- Experience in selection and managing execution partners such as PR, Digital and creative agency for agreed SLA.
- Experience in designing & executing PR, Events and BTL led communication strategies. Own and lead campaign design and delivery to meet ROI.
- An out of the box thinker with the flair of charting out corporate communication and branding strategies.
- Proven project management skills.
- Proven success in managing a matrixed organization and working with virtual teams.
- Practical knowledge of modern marketing methods and tools.
- Self-starter who looks for new market opportunities and ways of working.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Industry knowledge relevant to the market will be an advantage.
