Department Overview :
- The Human Resources Department at matrimony.com is a cumulative force of sub functions such as Talent Acquisition, Business HR Partnering, Talent Management, Training and Development, Compensation and Benefits.
- HR has leverage in setting up Policy & Processes across employee life cycle in the company and was also shortlisted for Business World HR Excellence Awards, 2015. The HR team is highly noted for its candidate experience, effective training and the culture it spreads across the organization.
Role Overview :
- The Head-HR Business Partner is a strategic partner to the business in delivering against annual plans and key business/process metrics.
- This role identifies and implements targeted HR programs and practices to support business demands; design and drive initiatives and best practices proliferation.
- The Head HRBP will work collaboratively with senior leadership and all stakeholders in delivering the business strategies, goals, objectives and key performance measures of the organization.
Key Responsibilities :
- Partnering with the Business Executive teams in defining business strategy and in driving the operational execution.
- Identifying and building the necessary organisational capabilities, ensuring alignment of HR activities and solutions with the strategic objectives, bench-marking best-in-industry practices and goals of the business.
- Mentoring direct reports and driving team bonding to fulfill strategic business agenda through HR interventions, tools and processes as necessary from time to time.
- Ensures a high level of organizational effectiveness through ongoing performance management, organizational design, analysis and change management, talent assessments(careers), leadership development and succession planning.
- Driving statutory compliance, payroll, prevention of sexual harassment at workplace and diversity agenda.
- Providing inputs and actions on significant business cycles such as Work force planning, salary planning, organisation budgeting for growth and expansion.
- Drive organization values, ethics and performance-based culture that engages associates across the organization.

Skills and Competencies :
- Strong business acumen

Education and Experience :
- Graduate in any discipline and MBA HR from one of the premier schools, with minimum 15 years of professional experience in Human Resource Management( preferably in IT/ITES industry) and a minimum of 7 years experience in an HRBP role.
