Job Purpose and Key Accountabilities
- Lead the Compensation & Benefits (C&B) function: driving the global design, standardization and implementation of the C&B policies and procedures in order to ensure a competitive position in the global talent market. In this role the incumbent will lead the Total Rewards (Executive Compensation, Payroll, Non- Monetary Rewards & Benefits) for our multiple business entities spread across India, Middle East, Africa & Turkey and other South Asian countries. The primary responsibilities of the position are: Total Rewards Plan Formulation & Implementation
- Design the C&B plan and policies for the organization. Drive implementation providing support on interpretation and implications as required
- Drive & design uniform & business supportive Variable pay and other incentive plans. Roll it out and administer implementation across all entities
- Responsible for proposing and executing change concerning C&B policies and guidelines.
- Support compensation fitments for new hire offers in partnership with the TA team to ensure internal & external pay parity while hiring from the market & when moving the internal talent to other entities & countries
- Transforming existing benefit programs by recommending design changes that would work from Global, local cultural perspective and cutting through a diverse workforce
- Develop & Implement Non-Monetary rewards Programs
Compensation & Benefits
Programs Implementation & Roll out
- Work with Consultants & vendors and ensure timely completion of C&B projects/Exercise
- Oversee end to end management and communication of C&B policy
- Manage multicounty C&B practices for all entities, ensure payroll compliances
- Ensure compliance to local laws wrt C&B and ensure timely pay-out of PF/SAF/Gratuity (social security)
- Provide C&B scenarios to work on Annual Salary Increments in line with internal budget & Market benchmarks. Ensure its application & administer implementation
- Market Intelligence, Research & Inputs for Strategy Development
- Drive the Global market benchmarking exercise. Identify suitable comparator basket across regions & entities to present the most comprehensive & accurate information
- Present level wise compensation benchmarking & gaps reports to GCHRO,
- Leadership and HR team & build consensus to apply the same
- Interface with external vendors to participate in C&B surveys to enable benchmarking of company positions
- Evaluate and compare existing benefit and recognition programs both local and global to identify key differences and possible areas of alignment.
- Bring in industry insights with an outside-in perspective
Coordinating with internal & external stakeholders
- Partner with finance/tax, legal and local HR payroll teams to ensure compliance with local laws and regulations related to payroll, and compensation & benefits programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, including benefits providers, compensation consultants, and other vendors.
- Collaborate with other HR teams to ensure that compensation and benefits programs are integrated with other HR programs and initiatives.
Team Development
- Design and provide education and training to managers and employees on compensation and benefits programs, merit process, bonus, and other C&B topics.
- Attend seminars, exhibitions, and training programs to continuously update knowledge.
- Continuously hone up desired competencies to perform exceedingly well in the role
- Reporting Relationship and Location
- The position is titled as Head - Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits, it will report to the Global Chief
- Human Resource Officer. This role is subject matter expertise role & hence will be an Individual contributor role.
- The role will require interactions with various stakeholders such as all regional CEOs, CFOs, Global CXOs, Vendors, Partners, Industry forums and External Consultants.
Candidate Profile:
- The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned and highly qualified person with extensive experience in
- Managing Total Rewards / C&B Functions for a large global organisation. The individual will need to have strong experience 12 - 15 years. Significant experience of working in a consulting firm as a C&B leader will be an advantage. Working experience of Multicounty payroll & C&B agenda is a must.
- S/he should have a strong executive presence, relationship building skills and an ability to make an impact with internal / external stakeholders.
Education and Experience Guidelines:
- Minimum Degree: MBA /PGDM with minimum 15-18 years from a Tier 1 Management Institute.
