Urgently looking out for Senior Manager - Global supply chain Management for our client.

About our client: A leading Multinational group having its manufacturing facilities in South India.

Job designation: Senior Manager (Head) - Global Supply chain

Job location: Vishakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh

Roles and Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing and execution of Supply Chain activities and having experience in API and Intermediaries sourcing and having global sourcing experience covering India, China, Europe and other countries.

- To manage global supply chain strategy integrating warehousing, distribution, procurement and customer service capabilities as per the global supply chain strategy plan.

- Act as supply chain lead for business development, acquisition and licensing projects. Provide GSCM with project management capability for cost management and continuous improvement opportunities.

- Lead all GMP purchasing decisions and projects. Manage spend, ensure vendors are managed in a accordance with compliance requirements and business objectives.

- Develop and implement global vendor strategy including spend review, vendor as-sessments, consolidation of vendor base, decision criteria for assessing needs etc. for all materials and services including RMs, FGs, Freight, 3PLs.

- Perform due diligence and integration activities for all business development (licensing, acquisition, internal development) projects including integrating new products, vendors and building other SCM solutions.

- Develop and implement global departmental and corporate policies and procedures for the operation of procurement activities.

- Conduct competitive bid processes, develop strategy recommendations based on data analysis

- Manage and maintain department SOPs and other documented procedures.

- Establish and maintain high-level vendor relationships.

- Negotiate/re-negotiate local and global contracts for materials and services with vendor senior management and legal representatives.

- Lead contract governance and monitoring.

- Lead vendor selection, qualification and on-going management including leveraging internal stakeholder teams composed of sales, marketing, QA etc associates to drive business results.

- Review commercial contracts and recommend action as they relate to GSCM policies, service delivery and overall SCM strategy.

- Deliver cost effective solutions and lead global SCM team in cost reduction efforts.

- Develop RM vendor base to support internal manufacturing.

- Utilize IQP (Lean Six Sigma, VSM and other tools and techniques) to optimize sourcing decisions, material deliveries/receipt, cost management and quality assurance.

Requirements:

Educational Qualifications:

- Minimum of 15 years procurement experience, in the Pharmaceutical or similar environment with international experience, out of which minimum of 5 years supervisory experience preferred.

- Proven people management skills with the ability to effectively manage and motivate teams; review and establish goals and assessment of employees within company policies and procedures.

- Excellent communications and organizational skills with the ability to coordinate and implement team projects.

- Proven negotiations skills with the ability to influence and persuade internal and external senior management level contacts, and experience with materials and services contracts and contract management.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and apply results to resolve issues.

- Ability to handle multiple projects concurrently.

- Strong PC skills with a solid understanding of word-processing and spreadsheet applications; Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred.

- Computerized procurement experiences is an added advantage.
