Head - Global Sourcing & Procurement - Pharma

Job purpose:

Responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing activities including Supply Agreements for bought-out raw materials domestically and internationally.

Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification is an advantage.

- Candidates should have experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, and supply chain management, preferably in the API manufacturing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Responsible for overseeing both Direct and Indirect procurement functions.

2. Responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing activities including Supply Agreements for bought-out raw materials domestically and internationally.

3. Review the capacity plans critically to ensure alignment between the demand and capacity.

4. Ensure that the procurement is facilitated from approved vendors only.

5. Finalization of purchase plans/budgets& ensuring these are not exceeded.

6. Co-ordination with Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing, Logistics, Sourcing & RA to ensure timely deliveries.
