Head: Global Inwards Location Bangalore/ Mumbai/ Gurgaon
The leader is responsible for our Global Inwards . S/he is has the oversight of multi-national/global clients (inward) and ensuring consistency of engagement in support of global clients and account teams in India. S/he is responsible for providing technical and/or operational expertise regarding multinational accounts including coordination of offices both within and outside own geography and organic growth including cross selling both P&C and H&B products on global inward referrals and development of cross-border sales/penetration strategies with country sales leadership, account executives.
The incumbent will define and execute a strong and ethical organization. Ideal candidates are Leaders with over 15 to 20 years of experience at Senior Executive levels and heading the Global Inwards/Outward Business of a reputed Insurance Broker. The leader should have owned and led a significant portfolio of the MNC business engagement in India during the last 5 years. Experience in the Insurance industry with a Licentiate equivalent of IRDAI is a must.
The leader should have had prior experience in Global Inwards and Outwards business, with a team of at least 40-60 Account Executives .The incumbent must have performed the following responsibilities in the current role
- Must be comfortable interacting with clients/prospects and insurers at C-level
- Hands-on experience in providing consultation to MNC's including coordination of service for inward and/or outward business, negotiating global/multinational insurance programmes, and/or leading collaboration across offices and/or geographies to support multinational risk
- Led, created and participated in global account sales and operational strategy implementation for territory implemented through an Account Sales Plans
- Engage and troubleshoot global service delivery issues that could impact existing and future client opportunities.
- Support customer in the claims handling processes
- Developed sales materials, sales collateral, collected market intelligence and facilitated to win business, Also should have developed similar competencies in his/her teams.
- Help internal/external clients identify and manage levels of regulatory and tax compliance risk.
- Must be a metric driven/analytical and generate reports/analytical insights on a regular basis.
- Should have worked in conjunction with local account teams to optimize client's global total cost of risk, providing strategic direction, programme design and marketing support for global accounts, while leveraging global expertise and relationships to deliver solutions Develop and maintain relationships with all global insurance markets within region or country.
The leader is expected be a team player with Strong client management and leadership skills, Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Must have worked on a Reporting tools, CRM Tools. Hands-on experience on eGlobal is preferred but not essential. Fluency in English, written and spoken, is essential for this role. Ability to interact with stakeholders internal and external is essential.
Ability to initiate and manage projects and to work both independently and as part of a team is an essential skill for this role. Experience in setting up a grounds-up operations team will be an added advantage
