Head - HR Operations - Global

The Head HR Operations - Global will work with Director - Global Operations - Human

Resources and the HR Operation team to deliver HR operations on entire Employee lifecycle management. This is a Global role covering our Singapore, China, Manila, Bangalore, Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The responsibilities include.

Implementation of effective HR practices:

1) Validate the current HRIS system & evaluate if any need for change. Implement the systems effectively.

2) Ensure process adherence for Onboarding, performance appraisals, Separations and Employee lifecycle events.

3) Update and maintain SOPs for all HR processes.

4) Update and introduce HR policies in line with the business and organization requirement.

5) Executing Employee engagement initiatives to keep people together and make the workplace exciting, rewarding and engaging.

6) Keeping an updated employee handbook with all relevant details and information.

7) Evaluate and improve the current HR practices/process to keep with time and external benchmarks.

Employee lifecycle management :

1) Review & control personnel transactions (e.g., offer letter creation, on boarding, HR onboarding for new joiners, payroll admin, benefits administration, performance management admin, learning admin, reference letters, employee data change and organizational data change)

2) Conduct personnel data verification

3) Audit and analyze data for discrepancies; reconcile conflicting data and make appropriate corrections and corrective actions.

Reporting :

1) Prepare, review reports/ dashboards and recommend actions to address; design additional ad hoc internal reports/dashboards as needed.

2) Perform information searches, analyze data based on research objectives and present information in appropriate format to best represent findings.

3) Proactively provide dashboards/analytics to for HR Compliance

1) Maintain files/records of employees as per statutory requirements and employment and labor laws

2) Leading all HR related Audits for the organization.

3) Ensure governance across all regions for all HR systems and processes and employment laws

4) Work with the vendor to manage the deliverables for labor compliance

5) Validate & review all compliance documents & timely compliance

People Management :

1) Manage team HR Ops team members to deliver HR services.

2) Coaching, career counselling and managing their performance.

Payroll :

1) Work with the payroll vendor and Finance team to ensure payroll is processed accurately and disbursed on time.

2) Ensuring timelines are met to ensure no impact on downstream activities.

3) Plan and execute to meet the TAT and quality.

4) Ensure Tax related compliance & random accuracy check on Taxation

Others :

1) Respond to various requests for information, as needed

2) Support any special project requirements.

3) Initiate and implements HR process improvements.

4) Conduct induction for new joiners

5) Design, update, share and maintain SOPs for all HR processes

6) Vendor and contractor management (Benefits, Payroll & HR Compliance)

7) Knowledge management.

Ideal Candidate:

1.) 12-15 years of HR operations / HR generalist experience

2.) Able to act as the brand ambassador of the organization

3.) Highest level of Integrity and fairness

4.) Effective Communication skills

5.)Effective questioning and active listening

6.) People Management skills

7.) Commercial and Business acumen as well as Strategic orientation

8.) Multi-tasking - Handling HR for all units, in multiple locations

9.) Willing to travel occasionally if required

10.) Prior experience in a start-up is desirable

11.) MBA or post-graduation in HR from a tier B school

12.) Knowledge of Payroll taxation & Compliance
