What you will do:
- Managing sales and profitability for General Trade / Modern Trade channel
- Planning and Budgeting for Sales Targets by closely managing and monitoring Working Capital
- Developing sales strategies, and overseeing the development and management of internal operating budgets
- Managing the entire Sales team and ensuring smooth functioning of the department
- Marketing and environmental scanning, advising on business trends and changes in the marketplace
- Analysing market trends and behavior to uncover new business and sales opportunities
- Compiling, analyzing and presenting data on competition and the business environment
- Representing the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company
- Developing relationships with key decision makers within the industry
- Supervising the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs
- Promoting positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors
- Developing processes and systems for enhancing efficiency in the Business
- Working closely with the business heads and top management in managing the consistency of the brand and supporting them with initiatives which are in line with the business objectives
What you need to know/have:
- Demonstrable industry experience of 8 -12 years in core FMCG GT/MT experience
- Should have managed a team of people and scale of business to take on larger challenges
- Ability to understand the market and Distribution Channel
- Strong commercial acumen and key account development skill
