Head (General Manager) - Marketing & Brands (Pesticides)

Key Accountabilities :

- Marketing strategy: Help the Head Sales & Marketing (Fert & Org Fert) to look at overall Business marketing plan developed by SBU responsibility for developing a annual marketing plan (ATL/BTL activities) for the SBU

- New Product Launch: Work with the business team right from supply chain, technical, manufacturing and logistics to develop an end to end launch plan and monitor the same in terms of progress so that the organisation develops a perfect bunch.

- Marketing Communications: Establish marketing communication strategy for across SBUs including creating media plans, digital promotions, campaigns thru social media etc.

- Marketing Analytics: Undertake continuous analysis of competetivie environment and consumer trends and provide insights for leadership in the areas of market share, sales and pricing analysis, ROI reports on promotional investments and proactive marketing solutions.

- Marketing Research: Identification of the Market reserch agencies, derive strategy based on Market reserch and implement action plan.

- Brand Management: Work with the SBUs in the common areas to develop strong brands and look at how to improve the brand equity including establishment of brand books.

- Stakeholder Management: Identifying & appointment of AD agencies, Media partners for Branding & Promotional activities. Managing Channels, Retailers and consumers to understand market insights.

Qualification And Experience :

i. Overall Experience of 12-20 years of marketing, brand communication and sales, within the Crop protection industry (Pesticides) is a must. Experience in identifying customer requirements, defining, and managing tailored go-to-market and sales strategies, creation of win-win partnerships with channel partners

ii. Ability to manage change

iii. Sound operational experience in selling (and marketing) of crop protection products, services, and solutions to growers and to partners along the value chain

iv. General commercial business and IT skills

v. Strategic mindset to be able to identify future market trends and needs to effectively position the company and products against the competitors while evaluating risks and business trade-offs

vi. Strong listening and communication skills

vii. Ability to quickly develop relationships and generate trust with stakeholders

viii. Experiences in regional and local teams, interdisciplinary teams, crop teams
