We have been mandated for the below mentioned position by a large global conglomerate in Stainless Business.
Position Name: Head HR- GM
Location: Tarapur Mumbai
Qualification: MBA HR OR Equivalent
Experience : 18 + yrs. of experience in Core HR - Should have previous experience in a large manufacturing setup - At least 5 years experience in handling business unit
Purpose of the role: Responsible for developing and implementing HR roadmap in alignment with business strategy and organizational needs for sustainable growth of the organization
Key Responsibilities:
- Manpower Nos & Structure freezing and reviewing biannually.
- Be a strategic advisor to the Management, business and function heads on all aspects of people management; work closely with the Management to support the top leadership team play their dual roles as individual leaders, and as a collective group.
- Develops organization strategies by identifying, researching & discussing with the Management - Human Resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
- To contribute to the development and achievement of strategic business plan.
- Formulation and implementation of Recruitment Process and Strategic ties up with recruitment consultancies, HR service providers, Web portals and Employee Referral Schemes for efficient and cost effective recruitment process.
- To play a direct role in leadership development for the organization.
- To formulate the company's HR strategy aligned to the organization strategy and works with the different Unit Heads to tailor and ensure implementation of this strategy for each plant location.
- To facilitate the development of appropriate organization structures with clearly defined roles and responsibilities and manpower requirements.
- To be responsible for Top and Senior level recruitments in the organization.
- To develop the HR budgets for the organization and monitor adherence to it.
- Salary, Employees Productivity & Turnover Review and Analysis.
- Competency mapping across all level .
- Tracking salary bill and employee productivity for all Manufacturing and analysing trends for future plan of action.
- Preparation and implementation of annual training plan and budget based on competency mapping & training need identification.
- To establish HR systems like for talent management, performance management, rewards, etc.
- To frame HR policies and constantly upgrades them to meet current business requirements based on industry/best practices.
- Responsible for developing and implementing HR roadmap in alignment with business strategy and organizational needs for sustainable growth of the organisation.
- To be overall in-charge of the people management and development process and participate in the operational planning process as required.
- To define and drive the processes for identifying, attracting, developing and retaining appropriate talent for the organization.
- Designing career development and employees retention plan to control attrition.
- Implementation of HR innovations for employee engagement & satisfaction.
- E-learning initiatives, development of e-learning(online).
- HR communication and interface through image building of the group in community, educational institutions, market and employees, handling employees grievances and exit interviews, personal interface with customers, branches and factories.
- To define the processes for career and succession planning and work with Business managers to implement the same.
- To define the leadership development process in the organization and work closely with the senior management team to ensure a sustainable leadership pipeline.
- To be responsible for adopting and instilling the value systems in all the employees.
- Lead the HR team to design and implement high-quality systems and processes in the areas of Recruitment and On boarding, Performance Management, Talent Management, Learning Organization, Rewards and Culture and became a employer of Choice.
- Ensure healthy harmonious industrial relations climate in all the plant operations.
- To perform any other duties as assigned by the management.
