Roles & Responsibilities
- To head e-commerce product roadmap for e-commerce website, apps and store kiosks. To partner with brand teams, stakeholders and vendors to create and implement the product roadmap.
- As the Head Ecom-Product, you will have ownership across all aspect of sites & apps and omnichannel functionalities for brands. All brands have their B2C Brand.com and there is a common central Digital team that supports these Brand sites and apps. This role owns the e-commerce product across all these sites and apps.
- This role will be responsible for working with Design and Web Analytics teams and partners to identify areas for improvement basis consumer feedback, quantitative surveys and competitor analysis to progressively improve the ecommerce experience. These areas of improvement need to then be translated into new functionalities and overall product roadmap.
- The Head-Ecom Product will need to build relationships with brand Ecom business teams, take a buy-in from all the required stakeholders and then monitor the delivery of the aligned roadmap. This role will also interact with all downstream system owners to align any dependencies with those systems and get the required changes done in the down systems.
This role will also liaison with external partners that bring about new innovations to the e-commerce experience. In addition, this role will own the Search & Personalization vendor to build the right fashion discovery for consumers.
Principal Accountabilities :
1. Consumer Insights & Experience improvements
Identify gaps in the user experience basis the web & app analytics, and usability studies and track competitor and complementary brands for the latest in product functionality & user experience improvements. Convert these into product roadmap requirements. Focus on improving conversion rates, higher NPS scores and improved retention
2. Stakeholder Management
Liaison with brands, Designers & developers on a daily basis. Act as a SME & go to expert for the brands in their journey of improving ecommerce experience. Capture requirements from brands on suggested improvements, deliberate with them and define concepts that improve CX
3. Product Roadmap
Map these areas of opportunities into short term and long term roadmap plans, which are customer centric & which will improve overall shopping experience and increase the conversion rate
4. Program Management
Identifying, scheduling, execution, and managing challenging opportunities and projects across cross functional teams. Manage stakeholders along this journey with updates & reviews
5. Innovation
Liaison with external partners to bring innovative ecommerce experiences such as social shopping, livestreaming and other partnerships
